Teaching Hibernation with "cupcaves"

As spring approaches remind the class that it is now time for bears and other animals to come out of hibernation.  The night before your lesson use a box cake to make enough cupakes for each child in your class. Follow the regular baking instructions. But before placing them in the oven, push a Teddy Graham snack into each cup of batter. Bake, cool, and frost as directed. Your class will love finding and waking up the hibernating bear inside their "cupcaves."
