Show and Write

Extend "Show n Tell" in a way that also builds your students' writing skills.  As each child presents his/her item, ask questions to help generate some ideas for them to write about.   Then have them write and illustrate a description of their object. Post these descriptions on the board until the next "Show n Tell."
